An opportunity has arisen within the Content Sales, Finance Team for a permanent Finance Assistant. contract. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the role is primarily responsible for assisting in financial reporting processes. The role would calculate residual payments to talent and writers, participants reporting, assist in monthly financial accounts preparation and reporting packages.
The successful applicant would have strong computer literacy skills with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Strong experience reading and interpreting industry agreements to calculate payments, ability to prepare payroll advice and forecast cost of residual payments are all essential for the success of this role.
We are seeking applicants who have a recognised qualification in Accounting or Business. Part or full CA/CPA qualification with previous experience in the media industry would be highly desirable.
To be successful in this role you will have extremely highly attention to detail, high level of accuracy, excellent Microsoft excel skills and the ability to work unsupervised
