As the perfect candidate, you have a wealth of experience in OTT Video products with a focus on revenue generation for OTT Video products and services including but not limited to, advertising, subscription and transaction.


You will be tasked with qualifying and driving agency facing advertising sales opportunities in collaboration with our sales, marketing and data teams, providing deep digital and OTT Video content consumption expertise, demonstrating both leadership and hands on experience.

This involves coordination of various Seven Network groups to ensure that products and initiatives are built, launched, operated, and achieve their revenue and end-user experience revenue objectives.


You will be an expert in the digital video landscape, primarily commercial focused, including but not limited to, OTT Pricing strategies, Data Management platforms (DMP), Customer/Data segmentation, Customer Ad Operations, and/or interactive digital services and You have experience in content management across the digital content lifecycle - content creation through to distribution and monetisation.


Reporting to the Commercial Director – New Digital products and Director of Revenue Operations – Seven Network, the objective of the role is to achieve the commercial revenue targets via advertising for a comprehensive suite of OTT Video products, whilst supporting existing broadcast sales strategies with complimentary digital offerings.  



  • Responsible for product revenue and growth
  • Responsible for existing and development of new commercialisation streams
  • Drive the Strategic Planning Process for digital advertising on OTT Video
  • Leading digital ad sales strategy with SWM sales teams for New Digital Products
  • Lead the GTM strategies for new commercialisation programs
  • Advocate for Digital video OTT within the advertising and agency community as the definitive brand building and brand-for-performance solution for advertisers.
  • Design and implement trading structures, processes and research programs that ensure mutual value gain for advertisers and agencies investing in digital video.
  • Generate ROI from licensed and acquired content
  • Keeping abreast of new ad products and tech opportunities and ascertain whether they could be of benefit to the broader SWM business
  • Responsible for development of new digital ad products to take to market
  • Drive the establishment of strategic partnerships including concept development, internal stakeholder engagement, negotiations, and project management. 
  • Provide on-going support to SWM sales force for all issued products
  • Create account plans and participate in joint account planning with sales teams
  • Organize and lead sales pursuits, directly or in supporting capacity, regularly review opportunities.
  • Ownership and accountability for ad sales strategy work streams, across the specified product(s) including premium, agency deals and programmatic.


To be successful in this role:

You will have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience exclusively commercialising OTT Video services in the AU market and have a passion for TV, entertainment and the digital advertising ecosystem.

  • Have an analytical mind, are fastidious about detail and demonstrate excellent organisational skills.
  • You are capable of multi-tasking, prioritising workloads and meeting tight deadlines consistently. From your wealth of digital video commercialisation experience, you have likely excelled at many of these activities:
  • Working on an end-to-end digital advertising and transformation project
  • Written a cross platform advertising strategy
  • Managed projects including implementation of new and existing digital advertising technology
  • Have extensive knowledge in the use of programmatic advertising
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
