As the Developer in test you will be working in a high performing team responsible for testing and test automation against a product delivered via RESTful microservices to front-end platforms including Web, iOS, Android and hbbTV.  The position will initially be responsible for testing and test automation against the mobile apps using Appium and WebDriver in JavaScript (nodejs, mocha, chai, etc.).
Responsibilities include;
  • Working with BAs and Developers to understand requirements that must be tested
  • identification, documentation and execution of test cases
  • Defect management
  • Implementation and execution of automated test scripts
  • Working with the Infrastructure team to ensure that CI and deploy gateways are properly tested
  • Proper communication of progress and concerns to the team

Experience and Qualifications Needed:

  • Experience with implementing automated tests against native mobile apps using Appium
  • Experience setting up test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver
  • Experience with Enterprise Test and Defect Management Tools

Nice to have;

  • ISTQB Certification
  • OOP Development Experience
  • Experience implementing test automation using node.js, mocha and chai
  • Experience with JavaScript Promises and/or monocle.js
  • Experience within an Agile environment
  • VSTS experience including Test Management plug in
  • Experience testing Web UI and RESTful Web Services
  • Experience building test automation for Continuous Integration
  • Mobile Device Testing - preferably using Appium
  • Performance Testing
  • Security Penetration Testing
  • Accessibility Testing
