Brand Partnerships Manager – Health

At Pacific Magazines our mantra is ‘we build the brands people love’ and we pride ourselves on being Australia’s most innovative publisher across mass women’s, men’s, lifestyle and youth titles, and associated products in the print and digital spaces. We have a diverse portfolio of brands including many of Australia’s favourites; New Idea, Better Homes and Gardens, Women’s Health, marie claire and WHO.

Pacific Magazines has transformed from a magazine company to a content powerhouse. We have gone from monthly publishing with print, to publishing in moments across social, digital, apps and events. If being part of this transformation and becoming an integral part of the strategy and sales support team on two of Australia’s iconic global health brands is of interest, then we need you.

An exciting opportunity has just arisen for a Brand Partnerships Manager to join the team across the number one health titles in Australia – Men’s Health and Women’s Health

Based in Eveleigh, and reporting to the Head of Health, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the sales and strategy teams to build best-in-market solutions across multiple platforms in response to client briefs.
  • Identifying new business opportunities across categories and audiences, and developing strategies around these to support the sales teams.
  • Educating the sales teams on your brands and upcoming commercial opportunities.
  • Achieving set revenue targets for the magazine, digital and social platforms.
  • Producing market ready collateral such as flyers, editorial sponsorship calendars and proactive opportunities.
  • Working closely with the editorial, marketing and internal client teams to create and amplify bespoke responses to client briefs and opportunities.
  • Providing internal stakeholders with advice, direction and support in maximising the commercial potential of Men’s Health and Women’s Health.

The person we are looking for will:

  • Be a strategic thinker with experience in developing innovative digital, social and print and experiential media solutions for a broad range of clients.
  • Have a strong track record of success in an integrated media environment.
  • Demonstrated passion and knowledge of lifestyle content marketing and brand integration, preferably in the health, fashion or lifestyle category
  • Have a passion for health and fitness as well as the ability to identify market trends and opportunities in that space (as well as thinking outside the square).
  • Be a natural collaborator, who operates in a strategic, inclusive and creative manner.
  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, driving effective collaboration between client services, brand strategy, editorial, digital, campaign operations, RED and the SWM group.
  • Enjoy working in an inclusive, collaborative environment which values team culture.

This position is best suited to a candidate with a minimum of two years’ experience within a media environment. It would be perfect for someone who has worked in a brand team at a media publisher, an account manager at a publisher/agency, or a marketer with experience managing integrated partnerships. More than that, though, we’re looking for a passionate individual who is ready to represent these iconic brands in the marketplace. It would also be advantageous (but not essential) if you’ve worked in the Men’s Lifestyle space.

If you’re ready for the opportunity to work in a fun, fast, creative environment in one of the country’s most progressive organisations, with the scope to take your career to the next level and beyond, please apply now via the link below:
