Seven Network is Australia’s number one TV network 12 years in a row and is part of Seven West Media, one of Australia’s leading media companies across TV, Magazines, Newspapers and Digital.
Seven is expanding its internal digital video and production team. The team creates digital content that extends TV programming to digital audiences and creates new and original formats for social.
We are looking for an exceptional Digital Content Creator to join the Home and Away team.
· You will be a digital storyteller who feels at home in a production environment and has a passion for the content you are working with.
· While you don’t have to be a current viewer of Home and Away, you soon will be! We are looking for someone who will immerse themselves into the storyline and who will want to contribute to the success of this epic Australian drama.
· The candidate must understand digital audiences and be able to strategise, create, produce, shoot and edit multi-platform content.
· We want people who have stories to tell and ways of telling them to extend our content opportunities, series and brands across digital and social.
This is a 12-month contract position, based in Sydney, where you will work closely with our Home and Away production team and Seven’s creative and communications teams including the Promos, Social and Publicity.
The ideal candidate will “think video”, with an understanding of what works best online, and how to create it. They cannot be afraid of getting amongst our creative teams to share their perspective and then fully realise their ideas. You must have great organisational and time management skills and be able to create and deliver to content and publishing schedules.
Maybe you studied video journalism, or you have worked as a social content producer and created solid video content already. You are proficient at editing on Avid, and – most importantly – confident that your story is worth telling. We want someone who can easily express their attitude and take on the world with video but who has a willingness to learn from our production teams. Above all, someone who is passionate about Australian TV and wants to see it touch audiences across many screens.
