Seven West Media is the leading, listed national multi-platform media business based in Australia comprising Seven Television; Pacific Magazines, the country's second largest magazine group by readership; as well as Western Australia's leading newspaper, The West Australian and associated WA regional newspapers and radio stations.
Seven's leading public affairs program, The Morning Show, is looking for university students in their final year of study to participate in a month-long internship program, based at Martin Place.
During your internship, you will support and assist The Morning Show and The Daily Edition Editing team from 7.30am-12.30pm, Monday to Friday, with their daily tasks. Interns will get hands-on training on editing platforms and the entire workflow.
This is an unpaid work experience opportunity that will give you valuable editing experience as well as the opportunity to make valuable contacts in the industry.
Please note this internship program is designed for students with some editing experience.
To apply for this internship, you must be in your final year of Digital Media, Screen Production, Film Production, Communications, or relevant Video-Editing course, have a passion for television production, possess high attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
The month-long internship positions are available throughout the year. Internships will not run concurrently with other students.
