A new and exciting opportunity has opened for a Sport Sales Executive to join the Seven Sales team in Sydney on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will service an agency port-folio and be responsible for selling all sport programming on the Seven Network, including AFL, AFLW, Men’s & Women’s Int Cricket, BBL, WBBL, Commonwealth Games, Supercars, Horse Racing, NFL, Winter Olympics and more.


Based in Eveleigh and Reporting to the Sport Sales Manager You’ll be:

  • Maintaining and growing an existing customer portfolio and revenue base
  • Meeting revenue targets across each sport property, primarily through the sale of broadcast & digital sponsorships
  • Port-folio management by overseeing and ensuring all cross-platform campaigns are delivered as sold
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to maximise network revenue and uncover growth opportunities for each sport
  • Build strong relationships both internally and externally to enhance the overall team’s effectiveness and performance
  • Preparing and presenting reports to the sales team

We are looking for someone who has:


  • 3+ years Media experience in a publisher, client or agency environment, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Experience in developing and executing sales plans that achieve superior results
  • Solid network of agency and brand relationships with a proven track record of influencing mid level decision makers within both agencies and clients
  • Understanding of the marketing funnel and media strategy to achieve client campaign objectives
  • Solid understanding of Nielsen, eTAM/OzTAM industry software, IBMS, Genesis as well as digital metrics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, DSPs, SSPs and Ad Servers
  •  Proficient Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, Office365


  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Media or Communications
  • Experience selling broadcast and/or digital solutions in an agency environment - Including Video, Display, Social, Branded Content, Mobile, Data & Programmatic, with an understanding of the relative strengths and roles of each
