A new opportunity has opened for a Master Control Operator / Technical Director within our MCR department based at our Melbourne Broadcast Centre, Docklands.

Duties include the application of engineering quality control to news and transfer operations, the distribution of live sport programming and the co-ordination of all incoming and outgoing feeds.

To be successful you will need to:

  • Have Master Control & Technical Director experience
  • Demonstrate a dynamic work ethic
  • Possess highly developed communication skills
  • Be able to meet tight deadlines
  • Be conversant with Satellite, Microwave, DVN, and Electronic News Gathering techniques
  • Be familiar with devices used to process, correct and enhance television signals in all transmission formats, and talkback systems
  • Have strong problem-solving skills
  • Be able to work with minimal supervision
  • TD experience should include camera control, robotics and lighting.

This position involves 7 days per week shift work to cover the operational needs of the business.
