Streamer is a sport streaming platform recently launched by Seven West Media. The platform showcases some of the largest grassroots sporting competitions in Australia, including AFL Sydney, AFL Cairns, the WAFL Women’s and Colts competitions, the NPL WA, the EDFL, GVL and Bendigo Football Netball League in Victoria plus schools competitions including the AAGPS NSW, QGSSSA, PSA WA and IGSSA WA. Help us tell their stories and build out the most innovative, user-focused sport streaming platform in the country.
The Streamer team are looking for a casual Digital Producer to be at the forefront of our digital presence in the eastern states. You will be responsible for creating compelling content and engaging with our online community during the winter sporting seasons.
About the role
- Creating sports highlight clips for our various social media platforms.
- Crafting engaging editorial coverage from across the local sport community.
- Actively managing and responding to social media engagement to foster a vibrant online community.
- Liaising with leagues and production companies on game days to ensure seamless coverage.
- Monitoring the community sports streaming platforms to identify trending content and opportunities for engagement.
About You
- Excellent knowledge of Canva content design platform.
- Keen interest in a range of different sports and an understanding of their nuances.
- Competence in managing social media accounts such as Instagram and TikTok.
- Ability to write appealing editorial content suitable for publication.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
