Streamer is a sport streaming platform recently launched by Seven West Media. The platform showcases some of the largest grassroots sporting competitions in Australia, including AFL Sydney, AFL Cairns, the WAFL Women’s and Colts competitions, the NPL WA, the EDFL, GVL and Bendigo Football Netball League in Victoria plus schools competitions including the AAGPS NSW, QGSSSA, PSA WA and IGSSA WA. Help us tell their stories and build out the most innovative, user-focused sport streaming platform in the country.
The Head of Club Relations is a critical role in the Streamer team. You will be responsible for acquiring new content partners Australia-wide, working with existing partners to get the most out of their programs, and assisting the commercial team where required. We’re looking for candidates who have a passion for local sports and their extended communities and want to make a difference in the space.
About the role
- Developing new opportunities to showcase local sport by interacting with leagues, clubs, schools etc from across Australia and helping to onboard them to the platform;
- Seeking out a deep understanding of the needs of local sporting organisations to help the continual improvement of the product;
- Liaising with sporting partners and production companies to find solutions and assist in developing robust streaming programs; and
- Shaping the sport acquisition strategy to help the platform continue to grow.
About You
- Customer service or sales experience;
- Keen interest in a range of different sports and an understanding of the local sporting market;
- A genuine desire to work closely with sporting organisations and help make the most out of their streaming programs; and
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
