Based out of our head office in Eveleigh, Sydney and reporting to the Editor for 7News Digital, your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborate with our digital, current affairs and news teams to build Seven’s YouTube audience, especially in quieter periods, by using analytics to understand how and why stories are having maximum impact.
- Having a creative attitude and keen nose for news – especially by having ideas on exclusive digital documentaries optimised for online.
About you:
You are a dynamic, collaborative and creative person with a passion for producing high-quality YouTube content in both long and short form. You will be able to work within tight deadlines and within a fast-paced environment.
- 5+ years of experience in video producing and editing, with strong proficiency in Premiere Pro.
- Previous experience with another news broadcaster (preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of YouTube platform optimisation with a focus on maximising visibility and engagement, including SEO strategies, thumbnail design, tagging, and analytics. Experience as a YouTube creator is a major plus.
- Strong skills in editing long-form content (10+ minutes), with an ability to repurpose existing footage into engaging videos for a digital audience.
- A passion for storytelling, with an eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality videos that resonate with viewers.
