As the Reporting and Data Analyst at Seven, you’ll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analysing reports within the Workday platform. Your primary focus is leveraging Workday’s reporting and analytics tools to provide actionable insights, ensuring data integrity, and driving decision-making across Seven West Media. This is a 12-month contract position.
Based at our head office in Eveleigh, Sydney and reporting to the People & Culture Program Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with Integrations Lead to create a clear view of all integration and reporting requirements across the Workday platform.
- Designing, creating, and maintaining user-friendly Workday reports tailored to stakeholder requirements including custom reports, dashboards, and analytics using Workday’s reporting tools (e.g. Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Prism Analytics).
- Co-creating a Data Conversion Strategy with the project team and co-leading data extraction, including coordinating the migration of legacy data and ensuring data accuracy and identifying anomalies.
- Developing and enforcing data governance practices to maintain data accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Continuously improving and driving consistent practices, processes, procedures, governance.
- Ensuring data confidentiality and compliance in all aspects.
About You:
You are analytical, have a strong ability to communicate with both end-users and IT employees with clarity and influence, proven experience in managing complex data flows in HRIS and Payroll systems with excellent problem-solving abilities.
You will have:
- 5+ years’ proven experience in data reporting, data testing and managing data flows within HRIS & Payroll systems.
- Experience with vendor management and working with vendor resources to achieve project and application outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and present data-driven insights.
- Strong data quality, lineage tracking and best practice skills to make a measurable impact.
