The Opportunity 

We’re looking for a driven and passionate Deputy Sales Manager to join our high-performing Townsville team and help shape the future of media sales. 

In this role, you’ll work closely with local clients, agencies, and the Townsville Sales team, and report directly to the Sales Manager. 

What you'll do: 

  • Manage a portfolio of existing clients while actively acquiring new business opportunities. 
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and six-monthly sales budgets across TV and digital platforms. 
  • Drive annual revenue growth and overall market success in Townsville. 
  • Supporting a high-performance team culture aligned with Seven’s core values and #BetterTogether mindset. 
  • Represent Seven professionally, ensuring accurate reporting, timely forecasting, and ownership of sales results. 

What you'll bring:  

You’re a confident, strategic, and results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.  You’ll also have:  

  • Excellent communication skills — persuasive, clear, and professional in both written and verbal interactions. 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients, meet sales targets, and negotiate successful outcomes through tailored solutions. 
  • Experienced in media sales management with a strong record of achieving results (highly regarded). 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with familiarity in Salesforce and industry software (desirable). 
  • A strong team player with the confidence and initiative to take the lead when needed.
