Join Telethon as Grants & Beneficiaries Coordinator – make a difference for WA kids!

You know us, you love us, but are you ready to join us to help change the lives of young Western Australian children who need our help the most? Telethon is currently on the hunt for a dedicated Grants & Beneficiaries Coordinator to join our Perth based team. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join WA’s most iconic charity institution supporting the Grants and Beneficiaries team.  

We are looking for an enthusiastic professional with outstanding organisational skills and experience in managing grants and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate for this role will be proactive and innovative in how they approach their responsibilities.   

Since 1968, Western Australians have raised over $778 million through Telethon building a better and brighter future for the sick and vulnerable WA kids.  

Through generous donations, Channel 7 Telethon has been able to provide equipment for children in hospital, critical services for children with disabilities and life-changing opportunities for disadvantaged and vulnerable children. Through continued donations, Western Australia and Telethon can ensure that our children have the best quality services and support for generations to come.  

  • All about the role: 
  • Support grant application process to allocate our annual fundraising total. 
  • Maintain CRM (Salesforce) to ensure grant information, data and financials are up to date. 
  • Support all grant-related administration tasks, including applications, acquittals, reporting, record-keeping and communications.
  • Manage grants correspondence and general phone queries. 
  • Liaise with all charity beneficiaries that Telethon supports. 
  • Manage the grants expression of interest process. 

All about you: 

  • Passionate about making a difference in children’s health and wellbeing. 
  • Experience in Salesforce (highly desirable). 
  • Outstanding time management and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Experience working in the non for profit sector with an understanding of fundraising.  
  • Experience in managing grants and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to occasionally work weekends and participate in our Telethon events and activities.
