About the Role
Lead the advertising team for Kalgoorlie Miner, Western Australia’s only regional daily newspaper.
We’re looking for a Regional Advertising Manager to drive our commercial success across both print and digital platforms.
Working with the iconic Kalgoorlie Miner, you'll lead a sales team serving Australia's largest outback city. This role combines local market expertise with strategic leadership to grow our advertising partnerships across the Goldfields region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive advertising revenue growth across the Kalgoorlie Miner's print and digital platforms
- Lead and mentor a local sales team, ensuring they have the tools and support to excel
- Develop strong relationships with local businesses
- Create and implement effective advertising strategies
- Manage advertising schedules and deadlines
- Analyse market trends and opportunities specific to the Goldfields region
- Monitor and report on revenue performance against targets
- Foster a positive team culture that promotes excellence and collaboration
About You
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales leadership experience is desirable or considerable sales/customer service experience
- A qualification in Business is desirable
- Proven experience in customer relationship management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build sustainable relationships across all levels of the organisation with a consultative approach
- Outcomes focused with drive to meet and exceed desired revenue targets
- Excellent people manager and coach with demonstrated resilience
- Proven self-starter and ability to drive, nurture and motivate a team to achieve
