The Opportunity:
As a Promo Producer at Seven, your core responsibility within the 7Creative team will be to brand and promote Seven Network News content primarily.
Working within a dynamic, high-performing team, you will be the custodian of the central idea behind program promotions, ensuring that all creative concepts work cohesively across communication touchpoints and effectively respond to the creative brief.
Based in Adelaide, and reporting to the Head of News 7Creative, you will be across the following tasks:
- Successfully promoting Seven Network News programming while supporting the Head of News 7Creative, News, Entertainment, Sport, Head of Promotions, and Creative Director in following specific briefs for each program.
- Working with internal stakeholders and collaborating across the Content News team to ensure clear communication, focus on campaign objectives, and execution of priorities.
- Creating promotions from concept to post-production, maintaining creative concepts that maximise marketing objectives and align with Seven IP and program briefs.
- Performing Lead Creative duties by supporting key stakeholders, ensuring the team follows the brief, and that all work addresses the brief before full post-production; understanding key demographics and communicate a clear vision of the Seven brand while maintaining its on-air image.
- Managing production of national and local news promos, liaising with News Directors and Head of News Promotions on priorities, following creative direction, and ensuring accuracy in project details, including music rights and compliance with the Code of Practice.
- Meeting production and delivery deadlines by planning ahead for graphics and voice requirements, encouraging fresh ideas for launching and growing shows, and developing innovative campaign messaging within budget.
About You:
You will be an experienced Promo Producer with exceptional interpersonal communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and an optimistic mindset. With a proactive personality, you are a team player who demonstrates good leadership skills, embraces innovation, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You will have:
- Experience in a promo production/editing role within the media industry
- Ability to build positive relationships
- Highly developed creative ability and innovative mindset
- High level of organisation and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail, and results-driven attitude
- Experience with Avid editing software is highly recommended.
