Telethon Accounts Officer
An exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated accounts officer to put their skills to work for WA’s biggest and most loved charity institution.

The Channel 7 Telethon Trust is a community-driven philanthropic organisation that currently supports more than 160 children’s charities and beneficiaries throughout the State enabling better and brighter futures for WA children and their families. Telethon proudly represents the people of Western Australia who have generously donated over $688 million since 1968, to improve the lives of our most sick, vulnerable, and disadvantaged children.
Reporting to our Commercial, Finance & Governance Manager, you will primarily manage day-to-day donation and fundraising revenue.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing accounts receivable, including the coordination and processing of all invoices
- Supporting merchandise accounting, including inventory and sales reconciliation
- Reconciling community fundraising income
- Maintaining accurate customer data within MYOB
- Assisting with general finance operations, including banking, procurement, and day-to-day accounting tasks
- Supporting the team in reviewing beneficiaries’ financial suitability for funding
- Ad-hoc reporting and other duties as required
About You
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Proactive self-starter with strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, and general finance administration
- Proficient in MYOB and comfortable with CRMs (Salesforce knowledge is a bonus)
- Clear communicator with a positive, collaborative approach
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and composure
- Initiative to identify issues and improve processes
