Seven Cairns currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Camera Operator / Editor to join our dynamic and talented News team.
We are looking for someone who possesses a high level of creativity and a camera / editing style consistent with metropolitan television.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience in News and on-air operations (essential).
- Drive and passion for high production standards and creating a quality product.
- The ability to think clearly, communicate, and act quickly under pressure requiring minimal supervision.
- Interpersonal skills and is capable of forming productive relationships with reporters and producers.
- An ability to work irregular hours.
- A willingness to travel at short notice to cover breaking news.
- A work ethic that thrives on high standards and high demands on outcomes.
- An ability to work to tight deadlines and in a work environment that can change rapidly and often.
This position may require some on-call/out of hours work, and an unrestricted manual driver’s licence is mandatory.
