We are currently seeking a Sports Content Operator to play a crucial role in the team to stream live sport on our digital platforms. You will be based in our Melbourne office.
The role
Do you live to watch sport? Would you like to be responsible for streaming live sport content on our digital platforms? If so, look no further.
In this newly created role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end publishing of sport for live channels and VOD. You will plan for upcoming events, prepare live streaming, manage the streaming including identifying and quickly resolving issues, and organise the replay of the events on VOD as well as FAST channels.
This role sits in the Digital Content Operations team and is an operational role supported by technical experts. This role will see you work closely with the Digital Sports Team, Digital Marketing, and other functional leads to deliver a high-quality and seamless sports viewing experience for our audiences.
In order to bring major live sport events to life, you will need to work flexibly and align your working hours with live sport events, including on evenings and weekends.

Who can apply?
To be eligible for this role, you should:
- Be currently enrolled or recently completed a bachelor’s degree
- Have the legal right to work full-time in Australia without restrictions
- Be a sport fanatic who lives to watch sport
- have an understanding of digital VOD
- Ideally have some work experience in a technically focused role
- Have strong communication skills including written and spoken English
- Have a passion for learning
