About the Role
A new and exciting opportunity is available for a Schedules Coordinator to join the Seven Canberra team working across our regional broadcast markets. This is a fast-paced and varied role - an opportunity to get a behind the scenes view of broadcast media and kick-start your career in the media industry. Reporting to the Scheduling Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Preparing & finalising daily television schedules for on-air broadcast.
- Managing the contents of commercial breaks and quality-checking prior to broadcast.
- Confirming that finalised schedules adhere to industry regulations.
- Operating in liaison with other departments and stakeholders to ensure all required data is correctly placed in daily schedules.
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to develop effective business relationships and collaborate with team members
- Excellent communication skills - both written & verbal
- High attention to detail balanced with excellent time management skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Great organisational skills and the ability to adhere to tight deadlines.
- Strong computer literacy and data entry skills.
This role requires you to work Monday to Friday, with later finishes regularly required.
