The Advertising Executive role will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building customer relationships, and driving growth for our company. This role will cover the territory of Joondalup & Wanneroo. We’re looking for someone energetic and a real people person, predominantly working with small to medium businesses to deliver advertising solutions that will help our clients grow. Within a flexible working environment, a usual week for can be very hybrid with time spent in the office with the amazing team, and then out in your territory meeting face to face with customers and prospects. As part of our team, you will be well supported, you will receive training on our systems and our products to confidently talk all things ‘Advertising’ with our Customers.
We currently have an opening to join our Advertising & Sales team where you will be responsible for:
- Achieve monthly revenue targets
- Develop new opportunities to grow business revenue across the Joondalup & Wanneroo portfolio
- Actively prospect and seek new business to expand client base
- Create and confidently present high-quality sales proposals and strategies to clients
- Champion dedicated features relevant to PerthNow Local (e.g., retail, lifestyle)
- Represent Seven West Media WA and PerthNow Local with a high level of customer service.
Key Skillsets required for this position are:
- Strong sales acumen with proven ability to drive and deliver new business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence in cold calling, prospecting and closing new business
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively
- Enthusiasm for growing the Joondalup Wanneroo patch and acquiring new customers.
Desired Experience:
- Industry knowledge across various sectors, including real estate, retail, aged care, motoring, education, and professional services.
