The Opportunity:
As the Sports Sales Coordinator at Seven, you will play a crucial role in shaping the success of our sports broadcasting division. You will be the primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring their sponsorships are seamlessly integrated into our broadcasts and deliver maximum impact.
In this role, you will be working collaboratively with the Sport Sales and Commercial Inventory teams, you'll handle everything from booking commercial airtime and campaign tracking to providing regular updates to clients.
Based in Eveleigh, Sydney, and reporting to the Sports Sales Manager, you will be across the following tasks:
- Collaborate with the Sports Sales and Commercial Inventory teams to manage and optimize major client sports broadcast sponsorships.
- Oversee key sponsorship activities, including commercial airtime booking, campaign tracking, and performance reporting.
- Proactively communicate with clients, providing regular updates on campaign progress and performance metrics.
- Provide management with regular reports on inventory availability and strategic placement of commercials and sponsored assets.
- Identify and promote revenue opportunities to the sales teams, driving revenue growth and maximizing sponsorship ROI for our clients.
About You:
We're looking for a passionate individual with an interest in sport, who is keen to build their career in media and ideally sales. You’ll bring with your excellent time management and organisational skills, ensuring meticulous attention to detail. Your outstanding interpersonal skills, proactive approach, and optimistic mindset will drive your success in our fast-paced environment, where you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact at Seven.
You will also have:
- Prior experience in administrative and/or customer service roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and familiarity with other designs and office software.
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Media, or other relevant subjects are preferable.
