The Opportunity
As a TX Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in bringing news, sport, and entertainment to millions of Australians every day.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring seamless telecast schedules that meet internal and regulatory requirements. Based in Melbourne and reporting to the Playout Schedules & Preparation Manager, you will collaborate with a passionate team to deliver precise, engaging, and impactful content. You’ll also be:
- Complete and export the final telecast schedule(s) in IBMS, maintaining compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Manage news updates, local promos, and ensure accurate placement of commercials, especially regarding sponsorships and legal requirements.
- Create and maintain Presentation Inventory.
- Schedule Presentation Inventory, including lower-frame supers and animations.
- Enter details for live and late-arriving programs in IBMS.
- Coordinate schedule amendments for last-minute changes.
About You
You are an attentive, detail-oriented, and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. With a passion for precision and a commitment to excellence, you’ll be a critical part of ensuring Seven Network continues to lead the way in Australian media.
You will have:
- Experience in Scheduling or On-Air Presentation.
- Knowledge of IBMS (preferred).
- A thorough understanding of the Free TV Code of Practice.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong eye for detail.
- The ability to meet daily deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.
- Solid computer skills and a collaborative mindset.
