Key Responsibilities:
- Capture compelling and impactful images that tell stories and evoke emotions
- Attend various events, press conferences and locations to document newsworthy moments
- Collaborate with reporters, editors, and other team members to plan and execute visual content for news articles
- Adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment, often working under tight deadlines
- Embrace flexible work hours, including availability for evenings, weekends, and occasional travel as required
- Be able to cope with on call rostering
What You’ll Bring:
- A keen eye and news sense
- Sound photography skills and the associated digital nous
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible with working hours and deadline driven
- Great current affair knowledge
