What We Need: Reporting to the Corporate Events Manager, as a core member of the Events team, the purpose of this role is to successfully deliver a wide range of external and internal events, promoting the Seven West Media WA assets under the guidance of the Corporate Event Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Event Managers in the successful delivery of events for Seven West Media WA including but not limited to The Alinta Energy Christmas Pageant, The West Australian’s Leadership Matters series, specialty brand events and internal events.
  • Working autonomously to execute scheduled events to meet the strategic objectives of the Group.
  • Coordinate event day requirements such as guest registrations, run orders, table programs, handbooks, and branded event collateral.
  • Using your excellent communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, such as staff, clients, visitors, guest speakers, suppliers, and venues.
  • Prepare event proposals and develop new event concepts of relevance to the Group’s needs.
  • Provide post-event reports.
  • Maintain event budgets
  • Maintain effective working relationships with external event stakeholders such as venues and staging and production companies.
  • Work collaboratively with other SWM departments to generate event ideas to support brands and products within the SWM portfolio.
  • Provide flexibility as required to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends and early starts / evenings as required to accommodate events and other activities.

  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • A collaborative and positive approach, with a passion for results
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
