The Head of Commercial Data is a key leadership role responsible for driving the commercial data strategy at Seven Network. This role focuses on developing scalable data products, leveraging audience insights to enhance revenue generation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Based in Sydney, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Data growth, Ad Tech, Revenue Management, and Legal to bring innovative data solutions to the market for advertisers and brands. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Designing and executing a product roadmap across both linear and digital platforms.
  • Driving the future trading vision, enabling seamless cross-screen trading experiences.
  • Staying up to date on industry trends in data collection, identity, and monetisation, integrating these into our data strategy.
  • Positioning Seven as a data-driven, innovative media company with a forward-thinking approach to trading and audience insights.
  • Representing Seven in key industry initiatives, such as VOZ and the IAB Data Council, to help shape data standards and practices.
  • Leading and mentoring and developing a Commercial Data Manager.
  • Democratising access to data within Seven, making insights accessible to all levels of the organisation, via our data intelligence platform, 7RedIQ.
  • Collaborating with core sales teams to develop data-driven client strategies that enhance ROI and deliver measurable results.
  • Identifying and executing strategic party data partnerships to evolve Seven’s data offering.
  • Driving and tracking revenue generation through all commercial data initiatives, aligning strategy with financial objectives.

 

About You

You will be a strategic, innovative, and data-driven Head of Commercial Data who is experienced in driving business value from data solutions. You also have:

  • Proven experience in senior data roles, with a strong focus on driving business value from data.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • Expertise in key media technology platforms (GA, SSP, DSP, DMP, CDP).
  • Strong client-centric mindset with the ability to adapt strategies to meet evolving market needs.
  • A strategic vision for anticipating industry trends and adjust product roadmaps for maximum impact.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to bring stakeholders onboard with new ideas and data strategies.
