The Opportunity
As Revenue Strategy Manager you will play a strategic role in our broader Revenue Management team and contribute to driving key revenue-generating strategies across the Seven business.
In this role you will primarily focus on managing key strategic revenue projects, including modelling of new and existing revenue streams, analysis and insight into the Australian media landscape, and pricing strategies for both broadcast and digital TV. Reporting to our Head of Advanced Advertising & Analytics, day to day you will:
- Drive strategic revenue projects across the Seven business
- Manage revenue modelling across broadcast and digital
- Setting and management of network revenue budgets
- Analysis and commentary of Australian advertising market to the broader business
- Lead and implement pricing strategies across broadcast and digital
- Creation and management of pricing & revenue tools for Seven Sales teams
- Tracking and analysis of revenue and yield
- Revenue reporting and analysis for external stakeholders, including management of external relationships
About You:
You will play a key part in supporting our national sales team, as well as working closely with senior executives and external stakeholders. You will also be responsible for sharing market analytics with key internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on bringing together a wide range of data points relating to revenue, inventory and audience, and consolidating into presentable insights.
You will have:
- Advanced understanding of Australian television industry, including both Digital and Broadcast mediums
- Deep understanding of Australian advertising market and key trends
- Understanding of digital video advertising, including knowledge of industry ad tech, and understanding of programmatic
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including advanced use of Excel
- Experience in leadership and managing a team
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau and MicroStrategy
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience managing a variety of key stakeholders, including C-Suite
- Detail oriented with a passion for numbers and data
- Able to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technology
