The Opportunity:

We're offering a fantastic administrative role in television advertising sales with the Seven Network. This is a contract role for 7 months commencing at the end of January/ start of February 2025.

As a Sales Coordinator, you'll be responsible for providing administration and sales support to our Port Macquarie Sales Team. You will collaborate closely with a Sales Executive, Sales Manager and State Sales Manager, working across a range of local customers who use television to grow their business.

Based in Port Macquarie and reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Providing sales support and administration for the sales team e.g. recording information and data entry
  • Assisting in preparing internal sales revenue reports, maintaining confidentiality at all times
  • Assisting with the preparation and the presentation of quality advertising proposals and presentations for clients at the request of the Sales Manager and Sales Executive.
  • Timely processing of customer proposals, bookings, enquiries and other sales information as directed
  • Recording all client bookings, amendments and cancellations daily, received from the Sales Manager and Sales Executive, ensuring scheduling deadlines are met.
  • Sourcing data and market intel for analysis purposes.
  • Representing Seven in the market among clients in partnership with the Sales Manager with Sales Executive.

About You:

You are someone with strong administrative skills, and eye for detail and excellent communicative skills, both spoken and written. A clear understanding of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and data entry experience will be looked upon favourably. You'll be someone with a positive attitude and strong work ethic, who will bring collaborative mindset to the team environment.

You will have:

  • Administrative or sales experience in media, retail or any customer related services.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey ideas effectively.
  • A strong attention to detail and accuracy when completing data entry and administrative duties.
  • Strong organisational skills, proactiveness and a proven ability to meet deadlines consistently.
