Based in our Osborne Park office, Seven West Media are looking for a talented Management Accountant to join our motivated and high performing Finance Team. Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will have the opportunity to apply your commercial and communication skills across the business to become an integral member of our team.
Due to the high visibility of the Budget and Forecasting function in the organisation, you will interact with the other Departments of Seven West Media to help drive effective business outcomes.
About the Role
- Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts for the WA operations
- Implement cost and expense control, with a focus on reporting, analysis and assessment
- Develop meaningful reporting to support decision making, both internally and to Group Finance
- Generate weekly and monthly EBIT reporting along with daily and monthly cashflow reporting
- General Ledger and Budget System Configuration
- Support the business to achieve its deliverables, as a Finance Business Partner to various Departments
About You
- Understanding of budgeting, planning and forecasting processes in a complex business
- Experience and an interest in improving processes, in particular, writing reports from a data warehouse or source systems (Epicor – GL, Prophix –Budget/Forecast/Reporting) in Power BI
- The ability to analyse, design and review business processes to achieve quality and efficient outcomes
- Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy interacting with different business areas, contributing to budget, cost management and revenue initiatives
- Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities within the team as required
