The Opportunity
The Salesforce Functional Consultant is responsible for technical leadership, support and enhancements across our Salesforce platform, associated applications, and technologies. You will collaborate closely with the Platform Manager, Product Owner, key stakeholders, and vendors to drive the platform roadmap and strategy, delivering high-quality solutions that enhance business performance.
This role can be full-time remote, with the option for hybrid if based in one of our office locations (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane) and reports directly to the Platform Manager – Salesforce and Integration Technologies. You’ll be responsible for:
- Taking ownership of the technical delivery and support of the Salesforce platforms (CRM, Media Cloud, Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud).
- Managing Salesforce data models, data acquisition, and data quality across integrated platforms.
- Partnering with the Platform Manager and Product Owner to develop and execute the platform roadmap.
- Leading vendor relationships and manage service providers for platform support and enhancements.
- Ensuring the security, scalability, and operational efficiency of the Salesforce environment.
- Driving continuous improvements, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues.
- Overseeing release management and ensure controlled, efficient platform updates.
- Providing quality customer service to internal stakeholders and ensure smooth business operations.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to integrate Salesforce solutions with associated applications.
About You
You will be a proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven Salesforce expert with a passion for delivering exceptional business outcomes. You excel at stakeholder management and enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You also have:
- Demonstrated experience as a Salesforce Functional Consultant or similar role.
- Strong expertise in architecting, managing, and developing applications on Salesforce platforms (CRM, Media Cloud, Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud).
- Experience managing Salesforce data models and ensuring data integrity.
- Salesforce Certifications.
- Proven ability to lead vendor partnerships and managed service providers.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Experience working in SaaS/PaaS/IPaaS environments and enterprise-level projects.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and influence key stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn and adopt other technologies e.g. AWS, GAM
