The Opportunity:
As a Marketing Coordinator at Seven, you’ll provide executional & implementation support to the marketing and creative teams, playing a key part in activating marketing campaigns within Seven’s portfolio of News, Sport, Entertainment and 7plus spanning the owned and paid media space to deliver consistent audience growth for the Network. You will also be supporting operations of our internal creative and client-facing team, Red Engine.
Based at our head office in Eveleigh, Sydney and reporting to the Head of Marketing for Entertainment & 7plus, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with media plan reviews, asset dispatch, and completion of material Instructions in partnership with external media agencies across paid channels (outdoor, radio, social, digital, print, content partnerships) to deliver campaigns live in a timely fashion.
- Managing day-to-day briefing and review of creative assets in collaboration with internal designers, creative teams, and external agencies, ensuring all deadlines are consistently met.
- Supporting the manager with the creation and development of Key Art scamps, pre-production meetings, photo shoot support, and other ad-hoc tasks.
- Overseeing regular creative team WIPs, invoice reconciliation, budget tracking, as well as fulfilment of ad-hoc branded merchandise requests.
- Attending internal/external creative and media training to stay on top of trends and opportunities.
- Assisting with general departmental admin including logistical coordination for shoots, public events, filing, courier coordination, crew invoice processing, and supplier and vendor payroll/maintenance.
About You:
You are an excellent communicator, both written and verbally, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders. You are goal-orientated and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a creative nature.
You will have:
- A marketing or communications degree (preferred).
- A deep passion for content, storytelling and all media – print, radio, outdoor, digital and social.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and manage competing priorities in a fast paced, high-pressure environment with ease. Willing to be hands-on to get the task at hand done.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks with a keen eye for attention to detail.
- An Innovative and forward-thinking mindset - ability to relate to and understand Seven’s guidelines, brand and target audiences.
- An understanding of the TV and media landscape in Australia (desirable).
