The Opportunity
We’re looking for a full-time Senior Broadcast Designer to join our team and play a key role in supporting the Sydney News Graphics team in servicing the News and Public Affairs programs.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the broader News team and will report directly to the Network Art Director & Broadcast Graphics Manager in Sydney. You’ll join a dynamic environment where you’ll be designing and producing graphic content in accordance with briefings and approvals from our news program producers, leveraging skills in motion graphics and broadcast design.
What you’ll do:
- Develop high-quality motion and broadcast graphics for the News and Public Affairs programs.
- Design and develop creative solutions that align with show visual branding and style guidelines.
- Work a roster that may include early mornings, daytime, and evening shifts.
- Ensure deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.
What you’ll bring:
You're a creative, innovative thinker who’s highly organised, great at managing time, and thrives on building strong, collaborative relationships with the graphics team and show producers. You’ll also have:
- Qualifications in graphic design, motion design, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in motion design.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Solid understanding of design principles and a result driven attitude.
