The Opportunity

As a Payroll Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of payroll functions across Seven Network. You will be responsible for supporting the payroll team and the broader business with everything from processing new starters, employee changes, and separations to managing timesheets and superannuation payments.

In this role, you will collaborate with the payroll team and  various business stakeholders. Based in South Eveleigh, you will report to the Payroll Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Checking and processing documents for new starters and employee changes.
  • Managing employee timesheets and invoices for the fortnightly payroll.
  • Preparing and distributing relevant monthly payroll reports.
  • Providing excellent customer service for payroll queries and employee records.
  • Liaising with internal teams to stay informed on changes impacting payroll.

About You

You will be a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Payroll Officer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Your excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks will help you meet strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy in your work.

  • Proven experience in a similar payroll role.
  • Experience with Preceda System (desirable).
  • Ability to reconcile superannuation totals and payments (desirable).
  • Award and EBA interpretation experience (desirable).
  • Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Teams, Email).
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
