The Opportunity 

As the Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for managing a variety of admin tasks and providing office support to the wider Seven team. This is a full-time role. However, we are open to flexible work hours for the right candidate, including flexibility around school drop-off and pick-up. 

Based in Sydney and reporting to the Executive Assistant to Director of News & Current Affairs, you’ll be:

  • Processing invoices via the Technology One system and ensuring payments are made in a timely manner and in line with the Agreements of these vendors;
  • Assisting to manage the supply of stationery and kitchen supplies;
  • Petty Cash – administration of the Media City petty cash.
  • Reimbursement & reconciliation in line with company policy;
  • Assistance with onboarding of new staff;
  • Concur reconciliation;
  • Day-to-day execution of a fortnightly payroll;
  • Assisting with the processing of Per Diems for staff;
  • Assisting with event organisation and management;
  • Telephone support – in the office of the Network Director of News and Public Affairs;
  • Other general administrative duties including phone support, filing and archiving; managing mail and couriers, travel bookings, photocopying and printing.

You bring exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail while delivering outstanding customer service. We are looking for someone who: 

  • Have strong time management skills and be able to prioritise a busy workload,
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail,
  • Have strong written and verbal communication,
  • Be a strong team player and highly motivated,
  • Provide a high level of customer service, ability to problem solve and find solutions to complex issues.
