You will have worked with design and product teams and can clearly define technical challenges that may arise from requirements. Your portfolio will include products that span multiple platforms rendering information from a cloud environment.


Reporting to the Head of Operations and Delivery, you will be joining the most existing project current in the Australia media industry, NDAs will need to be signed before being interviewed.


We are looking for someone who has a passion for Television and OTT Product delivery. They must be able to clearly articulate their ideas, be able to interpret business requirements and convert them into a product roadmap and user stories. They must be personable, have an amazing attention to detail and support the Scrum Master and Product Owner to guide our key stakeholders on our digital journey.


Demonstration of api response documentation, designing components and providing technical requirements to software engineers to ensuring the team is focused on delivery only what is necessary for that sprint. Sound knowledge of UX and design principles is highly desired.



  • Creating and implementing go-to-market plans for app releases and coordinate with all departments to execute.
  • Set up, facilitate and run requirements gathering workshops and sessions with key team members.
  • Build relationships across all the teams including design, product and software engineers.
  • Work closely with Design and product to product technical documentation that find commonality across requirements and can document these for a software engineer to developer.
  • Where there are differences clear document these and how they will be provided to the presentation layer team.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner and Scrum Master to set project priorities.
  • Collaborate with design to create a compelling industry-leading product experience
  • Work with the test team to develop acceptance criteria for requirements coming from the product and design team.
  • Communicate project decisions and updates to stakeholders.
  • Research and evaluate potential technology partners alongside the wider team.
  • Stay on top of advancements in app design patterns and trends for product portfolio.

To be successful in this role you will have;

  • Minimum three years’ digital product development (preferably in television or OTT video company)
  • Strong leadership, self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Worked in software development environments before and can talk to their SDLC experience.
  • Project Management skills (managing briefs, timelines, budgets, scope creep, production team and stakeholders.)
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Extremely detail-oriented with solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to translate business and technology requirements into product development backlog and prioritise accordingly

Nice to have;

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field
  • Solid understanding of digital media, social platforms, IPTV and OTT business models
  • Previous management experience and demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships
  • Use of project tools ideally Visual Studio Team Services to manage backlogs.
  • Have demonstrable commercial acumen and understanding of how to build software that brings value to both the business and its customers.
  • Excellent people judgement and demonstrated integrity
  • Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills, proven in leading executive steering groups and/or public communication
  • Ability to energize, lead and/or guide
  • Strategic influencer
