Seven West Media is the leading national multi-platform media business based in Australia comprising of Seven Network, Pacific Magazines, Yahoo7 and Western Australia Newspapers.

At the Seven Network, our Digital team is growing fast. We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic digital sales professional to contribute to our success as we deliver our Total Video vision across OTT, social and broadcast for Premium Sport, News and Entertainment. 

Based in Melbourne and reporting to the Digital Group Sales Manager, this role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of agencies, developing digital ideas, in-market coverage, sales reporting and client growth.  

As Digital Sales Executive, you will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with the Digital Group Sales Manager to create, implement and report on digital solutions for all Seven Digital assets and achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Scheduling meetings and in-market presentations with agency contacts, both new and existing. 
  • Monitoring and taking proactive action to achieve revenue targets without prompting.
  • Weekly and monthly revenue reporting and research analysis to support Digital solutions.Coordinating with relevant stakeholders to understand the features, benefits, value proposition of all Digital opportunities.
  • Knowledge Sharing on Global Digital opportunities and potential application in the market.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • At least two years’ experience in digital sales, preferably within the media industry . 
  • Understanding of best practice around ad sales, delivering and reporting to Clients/Agencies.
  • Proven ability in selling digital video, mobile, social, display as well as branded content and other integrated custom executions.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and commitment to accuracy on all communication and presentations.
  • Ability to foster strong ongoing and effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of industry standard . practices.
  • An understanding of industry reporting products such as Nielsen NetRatings, Google Analytics, comScore, IAS.

Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Media or Communications and experience will be highly regarded.
