- Collaborating with the Head of Marketing - News and Sport in developing national consumer marketing plans and creative campaigns for news properties and programs.
- Attending key meetings to gain deeper understanding of the campaigns and contributing to creative strategy documents and block plans.
- Managing workflow, campaign creative briefs, and tight deadlines for multi-channel media and promotional plans under the guidance of the Head of Marketing.
- Working closely with internal and external creative teams, ensuring quality control, deadline management, and approval processes.
- Building relationships with News & Current Affairs Directors, the broader News Marketing team, publicists, media teams/agencies, mentoring junior team members to foster collaboration on campaigns, brand engagement, consumer promotions, events, and partnerships and other key projects.
About You:
You are a strong marketing professional with excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, and a genuine interest in TV and the news. You’re an ambitious and proactive team player, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
You will have:
- 5+ years of significant consumer marketing, media or creative experience.
- Partnerships and sponsorships experience including stakeholder liaison, events, project management, evaluating and managing stakeholder expectations vs business benefits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
